Fire damages donations behind North Battleford second hand store
When Barb Rosendahl, manager of the Mennonite Community Closet arrived at work on Monday morning, she came across a scene she had never seen before.
“I got here at 6:30 a.m., there was a stove that they used, and they had plastic pallets back there and a couple of tarps and plywood, and they did burn a lot of donations.”
Rosendahl explained how an encampment was set up near the donation door located at the back of the building. It was unclear to her why the items were burnt.
