North Stars announce roster at kick-off BBQ

Sep 17, 2024 | 2:05 PM

The Battlefords North Stars were at Beaver Lions Stadium on Monday for their kick-off barbeque and to announce the team’s official roster.

It was a great turnout with dedicated fans enjoying hot dogs and hamburgers while kids played carnival games with the players.

“The team is very fortunate to have one of the best fan bases in the league and it was great for the team to meet and interact with them,” Head Coach Garry Childerose said.

“It was a great turnout, lots of young kids and a lot of familiar faces and a lot of new faces. It was good for the guys to have the meet and greet, playing games with them… we have one of the best attendances in the league and we’re very fortunate to have the fan base that we do and we enjoy building that connection with the fans.”
