Teen arrested after man assaulted at a North Battleford home

Police are investigating a serious assault and an attempted robbery at a North Battleford home yesterday, July 7.

Investigators say a woman approached a man on the 1200 block of 102 Street and demanded money. The man was assaulted and the woman fled.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers, along with the Police Dog Unit, patrolled for the woman and located her in a home on 106 Street.

A 17-year-old youth was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault, robbery with a weapon, break and enter with intent, break and enter and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
