Police continue to investigate fatal collision involving pedestrian

RCMP are continuing to investigate following a fatal collision involving a pedestrian Tuesday.

Battlefords RCMP responded to a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 102 Street and 11 Avenue in North Battleford at about 3:05 p.m.

Police report the pedestrian was transported to hospital and later declared deceased. She has been identified as a 62-year-old woman from Moosomin First Nation. Her family has been notified.

Battlefords RCMP and Community Safety Officers responded to the location immediately at the time of the incident.

Battlefords RCMP say they continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist and Battlefords RCMP General Investigation Section.
