RCMP continue to investigate following serious collision

UPDATE: Police report that on Tuesday at about 3:05 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 102 Street and 11 Avenue in North Battleford.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital and later declared deceased. She has been identified as a 62-year-old woman from Moosomin First Nation. Her family has been notified.

Battlefords RCMP and Community Safety Officers responded to the location immediately.

Battlefords RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist and Battlefords RCMP General Investigation Section.

Battlefords RCMP report they are continuing to investigate following a collision in North Battleford Tuesday.

Police said in a release at 6 p.m., Dec. 19 that Battlefords RCMP were responding to a report of a serious collision at the intersection of 102 Street and 11 Avenue.

Traffic detours were in place for some time following the incident.

RCMP will provide an update of their investigation when more details are available.
