The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is getting set to announce Tuesday an action plan to address capacity issues at Saskatoon hospitals.

Over 100 emergency department staff signed a letter to the SHA to do something about overcrowding and unsafe conditions at St. Paul’s Hospital.

Those issues were highlighted last week by the Saskatoon Fire Department which warned the SHA about fire code violations with hallway beds blocking exit doors.

SHA CEO Andrew Will and Vice President Integrated Saskatoon Health John Ash will speak at a news conference in Saskatoon at 11:00 a.m.
