Second suspect in Witchekan Lake killing arrested in Saskatoon
A second man charged with a killing on the Witchekan Lake First Nation was arrested Thursday in Saskatoon.
According to RCMP, Nathaniel Sakebow, 32, was found at a business and taken into custody by Saskatoon police. He was to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Friday on a charge of manslaughter.
On Wednesday, Chase Cardinal, 35, was arrested by RCMP officers in Spiritwood and also charged with manslaughter.
Police said Teddy Whitehead, 38, of the Pelican Lake First Nation, was killed on the Witchekan Lake First Nation on July 15.
