While the amount of COVID in Prince Albert and North Battleford wastewater has increased since last week, the amounts are still lower than peaks seen in the past.

All of the covid found is a type of the Omicron variant, with BA.5 making up 19 per cent and the rest BA.2

In North Battleford, the amount of COVID has increased by 52 per cent but is still considered small with the third lowest amount recorded since January.

The vast majority of the COVID is BA 2 and BA.5 makes up six per cent of the viral load detected.

In Saskatoon, BA.5 accounts for 41 per cent of the COVID found, which, despite an increase over the last week, is still considered to be in the low range.
