North Battleford announces 2021 Twinkle Tour winners

After pursing through many worthy candidates, the City of North Battleford has selected the winners of the 2021 Twinkle Tour.

The annual contest where residents decorate their roofs, lawns, walls and windows in Christmas lights and attire wrapped up this week, with 25 homes entered in the tour. Mayor David Gillan announced Hans Klassen of 1402 98^th St. as the winner of best decorated home.

Klassen wins a package from Magic Lantern Theatres that includes a private movie showing with admission for up to 35 people and a $50 gift certificate to the Magic Lantern Theatre concession, along with declaring him as the 2021 winner. Another plaque will be on display at City Hall.

Honourable mentions in the category were Kimberly Geering of 1702 97^th Street and Glenn Heidt of 9024 Mitchell Avenue

The best block was given to Bower Drive, while the 1800 block of 106^th St. and Cardinal Crescent were honourable mentions. A street blade sign will be hung there and another plaque will go to City Hall
