Male robbery suspect arrested in North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP are investigating a break and enter to a business on the 1700 block of 100 Street in North Battleford, which has produced one arrest.

On June 12, a male suspect forcibly gained entry to a business around 6 a.m. and made off with cash and merchandise. The theft was reported later that morning. Police later identified the suspect on June 13 while investigating an unrelated matter on the 900 block of 108 Street, resulting in his arrest and the recovery of the stolen property.

Thirty-nine year old Michael Rousseau of Delmas Saskatchewan, has been charged with break and enter and Possession of Stolen Property. He remains in custody and is making his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial court today.
