Two street closures on 20th Avenue in North Battleford

The City of North Battleford will have multiple streets closed today until 5:00 p.m.

Twentieth Avenue from 100th-101st Street is undergoing a power pole replacement by SaskPower, while 20th Avenue from 98th-100th Street has a valve repair underway by the city. No through traffic will be allowed until the work completes at 5:00 p.m.

The City also has two ongoing street closures. There’s a partial closure access to Frontier Mall to Carlton Trail and between Montana’s and Comfort Inn & Suites, in order to install paving, lighting, water services and a storm sewer. This began April 21 and will continue until June 28.

The other ongoing closure, the demolition of the Old Saskatchewan on Battleford Road to Hereford Street, has passed the project’s halfway point. This is preventing through traffic on 14th Avenue from 97th-98th Street. The completion of the project is expected by July 31.
