Robbery, stabbing suspects have bail hearing delayed

Two youth and an adult involved in the stabbing and robbery of a North Battleford man over the weekend will remain in custody for the next few weeks after their bail hearing were postponed on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Two of the individuals will have their bail hearings on Feb. 21. This includes the only adult being charged. Creedance Gladue, 19 from North Battleford, has been charged with aggravated assault and robbery. The other two individuals are young offenders and cannot be named, but they face similar charges.

The other young offender will have a bail hearing on Friday Feb. 10. All three will remain in custody until their hearings.

The assault happened around midnight on Saturday, Feb. 4. According to RCMP, three individuals attacked and robbed a man on the 1600 block of 100th St. The suspects were armed with a knife and a firearm, and made off with the victim’s vehicle.

The victim received 15 injuries from a knife and was taken to hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery.

The stolen vehicle was located by police on the Red Pheasant First Nation, where the three suspects were taken into custody with the assistance of the K-9 Unit.
