Three in custody after knifepoint vehicle theft
A North Battleford man was sent to hospital after he was attacked by at least two armed suspects this morning.
RCMP said the man was attacked and robbed on the 1600 block of 100th St. in the early hours of the morning. According to RCMP the suspects were armed with a knife and a suspected firearm, and made off with the victim’s vehicle.
The victim sustained multiple injuries from a knife and was taken to hospital, but the extent of his injuries has not been made public.
Policed located the stolen vehicle on the Red Pheasant First Nation and three suspects were taken into custody with the assistance of the Police Dog Unit. A pellet gun was recovered from the vehicle during the arrest.
