Collision results in charges

A driver has been charged after a two-vehicle collision in North Battleford Monday.

According to a news release, Battlefords RCMP responded to the collision on Territorial Dr. and Carlton Tr. at 10:38 a.m. Dec. 19.

One vehicle had to be towed from the scene, but there were no injuries reported.

The driver of one of the vehicles was charged for driving through a red light.

There was also a hit-and-run reported Monday morning, which was said to have happened overnight Sunday.

Police said the vehicle was parked on 20th St. West in Battleford. The possible suspect vehicle was described as a late 2000s dark blue Chevrolet Silverado.
