Vehicle drives into Battleford Esso

Police say there are no injuries after a car drove into the side of a gas station in town and caused significant damage to the building.

RCMP received a call at roughly 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 reporting a collision at the Esso station in Battleford. A single vehicle drove into the side of the building and caved in the wall.

Police said the driver of the vehicle has not been charged and there was no indication alcohol was involved, but the investigation is ongoing.

The Esso manager was not immediately available for comment.
