Riders score big for women with cancer
The Saskatchewan Roughriders want to make some dreams come true for women who have been diagnosed with cancer.
The Cameco Touchdown for Dreams is a partnership formed between The Saskatchewan Roughriders, Cameco and the Saskatchewan Cancer agency. These three groups come together every year to grant seven to ten women with life-threatening cancer one wish.
Christina Bieber was one of these dream recipients in 2015 chosen out of a record number 45 applicants. She is currently on a tour of the province speaking of her experiences and encouraging.
On Thursday, she made a stop in Prince Albert at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre.
