Dealing with opponents speed a priority for North Stars at WCC

With the field for the Western Canada Cup likely the most competitive ever in the tournament’s short history, the Battlefords North Stars are focusing on themselves.

Both Rebels clubs bring home provincial medals

The Battleford Heat weren't the only ones to bring home hardware from the Sask. Volleyball provincials.

The Riverside Rebels 13-U girls won gold in Tier Two this past weekend and the Rebels 14-U girls won bronze in division two of Tier One.

Battleford Heat bring home provincial gold

A full team effort made for a memorable weekend for the 13-U Battleford Volleyball Club Heat this past weekend, as they took home gold in Tier One of the Sask Volleyball Provincials in Saskatoon and Warman.

The North Stars celebrate their go-ahead third period goal in Wednesday's 6-5 win over Flin Flon that helped them clinch the SJHL championship. The league title gives them a berth into the five-team Western Canada Cup, which begins on Saturday.

The Battlefords North Stars had a tremendous season; there is no denying that.

But now that they're off to the Western Canada Cup, they will be facing off against three other league champions and a fourth team that came within one win of a title as well.

AAA Stars pick team after successful spring camp

After spring camp was a roaring success this past weekend for the AAA Stars, almost their entire roster has been selected and they won't bother with a fall camp for the 2017-18 year.
