Part of the Dekker Centre’s new season line-up is a night for kicking it country.

The night will offer a selection of country music artists including local talent from Battleford, Silverwoood, Medstead and Hawarden.

Battlefords LGBTQ group having first meeting, vigil in light of Orlando shooting

The Battlefords and Area Gender and Sexuality Alliance will be having its very first meeting tomorrow, which will feature a candlelight vigil to honour the 49 people murdered and 53 injured at an LGBTQ nightclub in Orlando.

Regina man acquitted of stealing neighbour's lawn

Most people have heard of grand theft auto before, but what about grand theft lawn? A Regina man accused of theft and mischief for stealing his neighbour's lawn has been acquitted.

The dispute started in 2011, shortly after Lam Tu Tram moved into his home on Spence Street in Regina.

UPDATE: No fundraiser necessary for injured Battlefords man

UPDATE: It's been decided no fundraiser is needed for a man severely injured in an ATV accident almost two months ago. Jody Kowerchuk's family said they're grateful for all the support since his accident and he's recovering much quicker than expected.
