Winter Reading Program Continues

Jan 21, 2017 | 8:48 AM

Our annual Winter Reading Program is back. This year our program will run from Monday, Jan. 2nd to Tuesday, Feb. 28th.

We have some great prizes available for participants and there is something for every age group.

See below for more information:

Bingo:

As part of this year’s contest, we have a ‘Bingo’ contest for adults, teens and children. To participate one must pick up a ‘Bingo’ card from your local librarian or download a blank ‘Bingo’ card at the bottom of this page. To play, simply fill in the line and submit your completed bingo card to your local librarian. The contest ends on Tuesday, Feb. 28th and there is no limit to the number of entries!

Kibbles and Knits:

Help our mascot ‘Ranger’ the Husky support the North Battleford Humane Society by dropping off a bag or can of unopened pet food to your local library branch. We are also creating blankets from ‘Granny’ squares. (a small square knitted or crocheted piece of fabric – 4×4).

Every ‘Granny’ square or donation of pet food entitles you to a ballot entry for a prize!
