Suspected car thieves on the run from police

Maidstone RCMP are on the lookout for two accused car thieves.

Kenneth Wayne Curtis, 28, and Candice Melissa Harvey, 32, are each wanted on multiple counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, and two counts each of theft of a motor vehicle.

When police arrived at their apartment complex Feb. 17, the couple fled with their dog, a mid-sized brown dog with a black muzzle.

Earlier today a business in Lashburn was broken into and two Dodge Ram Trucks were stolen. One of the trucks is grey in colour with licence plate 898JHZ, and the other is white with licence plate 454FWM. The stolen vehicles have Scorpion Oil Field Services decals on the windows.

Several stolen vehicles were recovered the RM of Britannia, and police may believe these may be related.
