The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Battlefords Branch inched a step closer to their campaign goal, thanks to another large donation from a local group.

Rongve, Gabruch, Schell and Weikle Wealth Management of RBC Dominion Securities, presented a $25,000 cheque to the CMHA executive director Jane Zielke de Montbrun recently for their “Make Room for Mental Health” fundraising campaign.

“We have several members of our team involved in the fundraising and we have seen how far they have come and the amazing things that they have accomplished as a group,” says Mark Richardson, an associate with RBC Dominion Securities.

The CMHA Battlefords Branch is continuing work on refurbishing the old Lion’s Den as their new headquarters. With the increase in local numbers the CMHA is seeing, bigger accommodations were required. The new location will have twice the footage of the current location. The fundraising goal is approximately $610,000 and according to Jane Zeelie de Minburn, the campaign is almost at the halfway mark.
