Complaints of stolen property leads to three arrests

Three males were arrested following reports of the possession of stolen property from Battlefords residents.

Battlefords RCMP responded to multiple complaints involving a dark coloured pickup truck between 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30 and 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. The reports claimed the occupants of the truck possessed a firearm and stolen property.

Police located the vehicle within Battleford, determined it was stolen and arrested three men.

A 24-year-old man was charged driving while impaired, driving over .08, failure to appear and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

A 20-year-old man faces one count of being unlawfully at large and a 17-year-old youth man faces charges of resisting arrest, two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

All three were remanded into custody and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday, Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m.
