Former RCMP building gets green light for eight apartments in North Battleford
A long-idle building on North Battleford’s 100th Street could soon house tenants after city council approved eight apartment units Monday, adding rental space Mayor Kelli Hawtin said the community needs.
The development at 1962 100th Street, the former RCMP building, would include four apartments on the upper floor and four in the basement.
The main floor is being developed for commercial uses, including a dentist’s office and restaurant, which fit within the property’s existing zoning.
Council previously approved three apartments at the property in 2024, but they were never developed before the discretionary use permit expired. The new application increases that number to eight.
