Body found near Turtleford water treatment plant

Turtleford RCMP responded to a complaint of a deceased male, located outdoors, near the water treatment centre on the outskirts of Turtleford yesterday at 9 a.m.

The body was identified as a 27 year old male from Thunderchild First Nation.

The investigation is ongoing and involves the RCMP Major Crime Unit North, North Battleford Forensic Identification Section and the Office of the Chief Coroner.

An autopsy is expected to occur next week in Saskatoon.
