Battleford Operun draws good turnout despite snow, rain

Battleford’s Operun Sunday once again attracted good participation, even though poor weather made the race challenging this year. The event was a fundraiser for local community improvement projects. The Historic Battlefords Lions Club organized the Operun, now in its fourth year. Runners took part in the 2 km (“Young at Heart”), 5 km or 10 km races in this timed-event.
