Man sentenced for 2015 car chase

Thee man responsible for a 2015 car chase that ended in a twisted wreck in the middle of downtown Saskatoon was sentenced Friday.
 
Bradley Derek Vestby, 36, was arrested Jan. 10, 2015 after leading police on a 35-minute long car chase throughout the city.

Melfort athlete gets chance to compete in Rio Paralympics

One Melfort athlete has not let adversity keeps her from pursuing her passion for sport.

Julie Kuzon lost her left leg mid-2015 in a riding mower accident. Already a competitive volleyball player, a friend of Kuzon’s suggested she try the sport as a para athlete.

UPDATE: Two missing 11-year-old Saskatoon girls now found

Saskatoon police have safely located two young girls reported missing Wednesday.

Rebekah Leeming and Lotus Sayers, both 11 years old, were seen in the City Park area Wednesday afternoon.

Event planned to raise awareness for Autism

It’s a common neurological disorder and its numbers continue to rise every year.

On Saturday, April 23 from 1 to 3pm at the NationsWest Field House in North Battleford, the Prairie North Health Region is hosting an Autism Awareness Event in recognition of Autism Awareness Month.
