Millions earmarked for Saskatchewan schools going back into provincial coffers

Millions of dollars that had been destined for Saskatchewan's school divisions will now be going back to the provincial government.

This summer the Worker's Compensation Board announced it would be distributing a $281.5 million surplus to employers in Saskatchewan.

Province commits to programs, funding in La Loche

Premier Brad Wall made the trip to La Loche this morning, to communicate the provincial government remains committed to providing additional support to the community, which faced a tragic shooting at the beginning of the year.
