NBCHS Senior Girls Vikings charge into provincials

The North Battleford Central High School (NBCHS) Vikings Senior Girls volleyball team are coming off a win at the 5A Girls Regionals last weekend and are now off to provincials this weekend, aiming for continued success.

The Battlefords AAA Stars are coming off a big 3-2 victory Wednesday night over the Saskatoon Blazers.

The win marked the Battlefords’ third straight, with the club outscoring their opposition by a 12-6 margin over the streak.

Kindersley's Buttar lead Canadian in 2018 PBR rankings after World Finals

After five days of action in Sin City at the 2018 PBR World Finals, Kindersley's Dakota Buttar ends his season as the top-ranked Canadian in the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) world standings.

Entering the event ranked 14th in the world, Buttar finished a career-best 17th.
