The family of Yvonne Fern Pewapsconias are heartbroken to announce her passing on October 3rd, 2020 at the age of 69 years.

Yvonne will always be loved and remembered by her husband Lyle Pewapsconias; Daughters Andrea, Deanna, Donna, Sandra, Vanessa, Candice, and Amanda; Sons Troy and Vernon Jr.; Stepchildren Lyle Jr. (Fern), Pricilla (Sam), Peggy (Elvis), Shelly (Jim), and Marla; special grandson “Baby” Lance; adopted children Ruby, Sheldon, Noreen, Crystal, Leanne, and Kim; siblings Lorna (Doug), Phillis (Francis), Shirley (Archie), Valerie (Barry), Amy (Mike), Irene, Darlene (Joe) and Fred (Pat); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; adopted mom Florence McIntosh; good friends Matilda Bull, Jean Moosomin, and Sharron Ahenakew-Wuttunee; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Yvonne is predeceased by her son Lance and daughter Paula; mother Bertha Benson; father Johnson (Louis) Whitford; grandson Ryan Bugler; nephew Jason Wuttunee; step-father Stanley Armstrong; brothers Ronald (Margaret) Benson and Larry Wuttunee; best friend Evaleena Stone; her grandparents and uncles.

Funeral services for Yvonne will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chief Glen Keskotagan Community Centre in Red Pheasant Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. Interment will follow at the Red Pheasant Cemetery.
