Albin “Walter” Heggstrom passed away at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on April 29, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

Walter is survived by: his loving wife, Margot Heggstrom; three sons, Ian (Jenny) Heggstrom and their children, Cassandra and Samantha, Eric (Carmen) Heggstrom and their children Cacia and Belle, and Bruce (Michelle) Heggstrom and their children Carter, Natalie and Barrett; sister, Valerie Zacharias; brother-in-law, Barry (Anne) McConnell; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Walter is predeceased by: his parents, Albin and Ethel Heggstrom; father and mother-in-law, Noel (Betty) McConnell, and brother-in-law, Bob Zacharias.

The Memorial Service for Walter will be conducted from Turtleford Community Centre, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service which will be posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Walter’s obituary at the time of the service.

Donations in memory of Walter may be made to Parkinson’s Society or Riverside Health Complex – Longterm Care.
