It is with great sadness that the Family of Theo Omelchenko, announce, that after a courageous battle with cancer, he peacefully passed away with his wife Chris at his side, on Tuesday January 12, 2021
Theo was born April 24, 1935 in North Battleford to Peter and Mary Omelchenko. After his Father passed and at the age of 16 Theo started to run the family farm. He was always quick to help out family or a neighbor, or challenge them to a crib game, with a little smile. Putting long hours on a tractor or working on machinery was something he just loved to do. The farm life was his ‘happy place’ and worked on it until just recently. In July of 2019 he had major heart surgery, then In June of 2020 he found out he had Cancer. In November of 2020 he battled and beat covid.
