Peggy Irene Challis

Peggy passed away in the early morning hours on Friday, June 4, 2021 at River Heights Lodge with family beside her, just shy of her 101st birthday. Left to cherish her memory is: son, Roy (Donna) Challis; son-in-law, Ivan Katzell; son, Bob (Shawn) Challis; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Kilpatrick; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, & 15 great-great-grandchildren respectively: Dannyll (Susan) Challis (Justyn Challis (Kenzie), Rayne Challis (Brett)), Dawnn (David) Thorson (Reid Challis (Vanessa), Kennedy Thorson, Carter Thorson), Darryll Challis (Grayson Challis); Candy (Vernon) Roger (Michael (Louise) Roger [Allie and Maximus], Matthew (Robin) Roger [Nathaniel, Zoe, Gianna, Audrey], Nicole Taylor [Ethan, Elizabeth, Rylan]), Chris Katzell, Darren (Marquelle) Katzell (William (Natasha) Katzell [Alexus, Dominic, Aiden, Lukas, Summer, Shayce], Tyana, Jaidyn, Jace), Cindy Hoffart (Zachary Katzell, Chance Katzell, Andrew & April Hoffart); Jackie Challis, Sara Challis; Maggie Kilpatrick, Sean Kilpatrick. She is also lovingly survived by her sisters; Daphne Donovan, Marlene Goodall, Beryl Saville & Marie Barnes, all from the Southampton, England area and numerous nieces & nephews both here in Canada and Overseas. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Roy H. Challis, 2nd husband Bob Kilpatrick, 2 brothers John & Ken Mott & 1 sister Kathleen Stanley, sister-in-law Phyllis Fessler, son-in-law Dwight Kilpatrick and most recently her daughter Rosemarie Katzell on May 18, 2020. Public viewing will be held Saturday, June 12/21 from 10:30 to 11:30 am from ‘The Garden Chapel’ – 1332 – 100th Street, North Battleford, SK. Covid protocols will be in place. Private family viewing will be held Saturday, June 12/21 from 1-2 pm, followed by a Private Family Celebration of Life at 2 pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1302 – 99th Street, North Battleford, SK.
