It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Ms. Charlotte Kahpeaysewat on March 20, 2026 at the age of 49 years.

Charlotte will be remembered by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Mary Kahpeaysewat; her beautiful daughters: Megan (Bobby), Jessie, Leah, Penni, Sonya, Serenity, Alaina; her precious granddaughter, Octavia; loving partner and father of her children, Darrel Weenie; adopted son, Ethan Linklater; siblings: Vince (Verna), Judy (Dwayne), Melanie (Louis), Paul (Addy), Jennifer (Paul), Denise (Leslie), Emily (Gary).

She was predeceased by her daughter, Merna Hope Kahpeaysewat; brother, Jason Kahpeaysewat; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. George and Virginia Kahpeaysewat and Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Melanie Night; best friend, Alana Blackstar.

Wake Service began Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Moosomin Band Hall.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Moosomin Band Hall. Interment will follow at Moosomin First Nation Cemetery.
