Shirley Anne Michnik, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away April 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Born in Didsbury, Alberta on April 16, 1934 to Hank and Claudia Wall. She was the eldest sister to siblings; Ron, Carol, Allan, and Gordon James. Later Shirley moved to North Battleford where she met and fell in love with Charlie Michnik. They went on to elope and were married in Lloydminster, Alberta in 1954. Charlie passed away on December 7, 2006 after many happy years together.

Shirley was well known for her strength, amazing sense of humour and her unwavering love and support to her family. A dedicated mother to her 4 children; Brian, Richard, David and Judy.
Like her name sake,(Shirley Temple)Shirley Ann Michnik loved to entertain and was both a singer and dancer. She sang at numerous weddings and funerals, as well as directed both adult and children choirs. She was also involved with local acting clubs, charity socials and was frequently asked to entertain at local sports banquets.  She will be remembered in the community as a devoted volunteer to her Church, special needs children, and the hospital. Her prized garden was a passion for her and admired by many. Shirley was an avid bowler, bridge player and a loyal Jr. Beavers baseball fan.

Shirley is survived by; her brother Gordon Wall, sons, Brian (Jennifer), Richard (Shelly), David (Mitra) and daughter Judy (Barry Redlick)
Her grandchildren; Sarah (Patrick Devlin) Joshua (Kleah), Brett, Kori (Shawn Humenny), Tyler (Jessica), Benjamin, Nicholas, Jonathan (Leisha)
And her Great Grandchildren; Finella, Ronan, Charlie, Mya, Berkley, Kasen, Kalaya, Henry, Carl and Quinn.

A Private Family Service and Interment will be held Aug 1,2025 at 2:00 pm.

A Public Come and Go social gathering for family and friends wishing to celebrate her life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in North Battleford from 7:30-10:00 pm.
