Mrs. Mavis Curran passed away January 10, 2024 in Edmonton, AB at the age of 70 years.
Her love, kindness and generosity will remain in our hearts, inspiring us to carry on her legacy. Her grandson Alex, whom she raised and was proud of, seen him achieve what he wanted and more. She loved her daughters, each and every one of her grandchildren and great-grandbabies. She loved the simple things in life, road trips, going to powwows, sun dances, sallying, driving to BC to visit her late brother Sonny and as well as her sister, nieces and nephew. She valued spending time with all her relatives in SK, AB, BC and in the states during the holidays, birthdays and on many special occasions.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Shauna Curran (bubbles), Janelle Bugler; beloved grandkids: Alex Holmes, Jaydon Curran, Tayah Curran; deeply loved great-grandkids: Santina, Tayliah (winky), Mavis, Easton, Cory; sisters: Maureen (Poogee), Chuquiej (Calixto) and Maggie Stanley; brothers: Corey Keewatin, John Keewatin and Andy McGrath; countless nieces and nephews; dear friends: Dorothy Chapman and Mary Stanley.
