Mrs. Marilyn Paddy

Marilyn Faye Paddy, lovingly known as “Blue Thunder Woman,” passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 58.
Marilyn was born on July 4, 1967, in Turtleford, Saskatchewan.
She lived a life rooted in love, strength, and deep connection to her family and community. Known for her infectious smile, laughter, and unwavering spirit, Marilyn had a special way of bringing people together and making everyone feel valued and cared for. Marilyn’s life was a reflection of love, resilience, and deep cultural pride. She will be remembered for her kindness, her naughty sense of humor, and the way she uplifted those around her. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A Traditional Wake was held for Marilyn on April 21, 2026 followed by a Service on April 22, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. both services were held at Chief James Okanee Gymnasium on Thunderchild First Nation. Burial took place following the services at Thunderchild Cemetery.
