Mrs. Margaret Jean Hamilton (Peggy)
Peggy, a beacon of strength, was born on November 1, 1935, at the Fort Qu’Appelle sanatorium. (Her mother was battling tuberculosis). She peacefully completed her journey on May 11, 2024, at the age of 88 years, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Left to cherish in Peggy’s memory are her loving son Robert and wife Cherie, their four children: Christopher (Caitlyn), and their two sons Maximums and Decimus, Chase and his son Braxton, Tia and Kyle (Crystal).
Peggy gave birth to three boys: Dale (predeceased), Doug Wylie (placed for adoption but always had a piece of her heart) and Rob, who was her anchor throughout life. Sherri, Kimberly, Jennifer, and Caitlyn are Dale’s daughters and their children: Olvia, Brookly, Tyler Hailey, Liam, Caden, Colby, and Daxon.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband John Hamilton, her mother, Marion Mino Davidson, her father, William Davidson and her son, Dale Hamilton.
The farm life brought Peggy many years of Joy. She would wake early to milk the cows regardless of temperature and weather. She would come back to the house and have breakfast on the table before everyone left for the day. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her family and animals. It was not always an easy life for Peggy, but she always kept her kind and generous heart. She would give all and expect nothing in return.
In Lieu of flowers Donations can be made to River Heights Recreational Department.
