Lorrette Mary Johnson (nee Iverson) passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, May 15, 2026, with family by her side. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Lloyd (Betty) and their family: Jennafer (Jared Johannesen), Kelson, Simon, Livia and Finnigan, Jade (Kyle McNamara), Rhett and Rory, Lenard (Christy) and their family: Taylor (Keenan Goheen), Aspen (Kurtis Schick), Lennon and Levitt, Lane and Lyla (Derrick Schaefer) and their family: Dylan (Cassie Firby), Emma (Zachary Nedelec) and Ella. Lorrette is also survived by her brothers: Calvert (Georgina) Iverson, Omer Iverson, Perry (Donna) Iverson, Ricky (Jocelyn) Iverson; sister, Sherri Salzsauler; brother-in-law, Leonard Carriere.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lyle Johnson; spouse, Pete Huys; parents, Rudy and Jessie Iverson; twin sister, Lorraine Carriere; infant brother, Randy Iverson; and daughter-in-law, Kathryn Campbell.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Edam Enriched Manor staff and the BUH team for the wonderful care Lorrette received during her residency and week in BUH. As per her wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BUH Foundation, the Edam Enriched Manor for proceeds toward their new resident bus, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
