Juliette passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

She was born in N. Battleford on July 12, 1946 and attended St. Joseph Separate School and the Convent of the Child Jesus. She received her Certified Nurse’s Aide diploma in 1966 and nursed in hospitals in both N. Battleford and Wilkie before choosing to be an-at-home Mom in 1972.

 

Her Centennial Project in 1967 was to marry Dennis Tebay and they lived in many communities in Western Canada as his career in the Co-op Retailing System progressed then retired to their new lake­front home they built in Metinota, Sask.

She was a volunteer Librarian Assistant and served on the Meota Library Board. She also enjoyed traveling and enjoyed their winter home at Araby Acres in Yuma, Arizona.

 

Left to mourn her loss are her husband, Dennis Tebay; sons: Greg (Jeralyn) and Bob Tebay; grandchildren Laura, Jillian, Avren and Madelin Tebay; brother, Jim (Marie) Roy; in-laws: Jackie Roy, Dale (Joyce) Tebay, Doug (Terry) Tebay, Gary (Roberta) Tebay; Nieces: Renee Roy, Kelly Babcock, Michelle Robb, Hailey Roy, Kim Toope, Garrette Tebay; nephews: Darryn Roy and Logan Roy; Brad, Patrick, Brodie and Brennan Tebay. As well as numerous cousins and second-generation nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents: Urbain and Rhea Roy; siblings: Harvey, Rolland and Jeannette Roy; nephew, Bernie Roy; in-laws: Bob and Shirley Tebay.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Third Avenue United Church, N. Battleford on Friday, July 5, 2024 @ 1:00 PM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium – Vanessa Macnab Funeral Director.

The family would like to express sincere thank you to the Doctors and Staff at both Battleford’s Union Hospital and Dr. Kennedy and her Staff at Saskatoon St. Paul’s Hospital for the kindness and compassion received while she was cared for there. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Palliative Care Unit at BUH Foundation Po Box 1358 North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8 would be preferred.
