It is with great sadness that the family of Jenny (Jean) Hansen of North Battleford, Saskatchewan announces her passing on June 10, 2026 at the age of 94 years.

She will be fondly remembered for her love of family and her devotion to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. It was a great joy to her whenever they visited her. She was also known for her fiercely independent spirit and she openly displayed it to everyone who knew her.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Carole Radchenko (Loran) of Calgary, Alberta; son, Myles Hansen of North Battleford, Saskatchewan; daughter, Deborah Hansen (Wayne Preston) of Lloydminster, Alberta; son, Shawn Hansen of High River, Alberta; daughter, Shannon Van Neste (Pierre) of Calgary, Alberta; brother, Lenard Buziak of Edmonton, Alberta; brother, Martin Buziak (Rita) of London, Ontario and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.

She was predeceased by her husband Iver Hansen of North Battleford, Saskatchewan; her parents: Michael Stephen Buziak of North Battleford and Anne Buziak of Welland, Ontario.

Funeral Service for Jenny will be held at 1: 00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church in North Battleford, Saskatchewan with reception to follow.
