It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elaine on August 22, 2025. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the age of 64. Elaine fought a long courageous battle with cancer. She fought a good fight as best as she could.

A private family Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Calasanctius Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, August 30, 2025, Officiated by Reverend Father Tai Le. The Interment followed at The Battleford Cemetery.

Elaine enjoyed the little things in life- someone stopping by their home for a visit and a cup of coffee. She usually had the coffee on. She enjoyed a phone visit from a family member or friend, a meal out at a restaurant or an evening out for coffee with friends. Most of all Elaine loved her family, her husband Larry and their daughter Ashley. She was so proud of them and loved them so much. Elaine always had a smile for everyone!

Our only wish is that Elaine could have been with us longer in this life, enjoying many more good things she enjoyed in her life. God had other plans for her, he wanted to take her home! Where we know that one day she will be in a better place.

The family would like to give a great big thank you to Dr. Campbell and the Palliative Care Staff at BUH for their compassionate care and support.

Elaine will be forever remembered by her husband, Larry Roth; daughter, Ashley Roth; her mother, Dorothy Leibel; sisters: Diane Schlosser, Shirley (Lorne) Glowa, Lucille Paulow, Sharon (Rocky) Omelchenko; her brother, Garry Leibel (Karen Richard); sisters-in-law: Dorothy (Ron) Reid, Margaret (Denis) Hamel, Marilyn (Ken) Rohs; brothers-in- law: Alan (Rose) Roth, David (Cathy)Roth and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elaine was predeceased by her father, Louis Leibel; father-in-law, George Roth; mother-in-law, Mary Roth; brothers-in-law: Neil Schlosser, Don Paulow; nephew: Jesse Schlosser.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Battlefords union hospital, palliative care unit, PO Box 1358 North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8
