Dianne was born in Edam, SK, on June 27, 1938. She grew up in Minnehaha until Grade 1 when the family moved to Meota to operate a dairy farm. After completing school, Dianne worked at the CIBC and married George on October 21, 1961. The girls were born in Saskatoon and in 1970 the family relocated to Edmonton, where Dianne worked for Northern Canada Power Commission.
After retirement George and Dianne were fortunate enough to spend 28 years as snowbirds in Yuma, Arizona. Dianne was well known for her love of gardening and kept many beautiful flower beds. Bouquets of her beloved Gladiolus and Sweet Peas were always on display in the summer months. She could also be found watching the Edmonton Oilers or Toronto Blue Jays in her spare time. Dianne was so proud of her grand kids and loved being a Gigi to her “greats”. She was always excited to spend time with them. Dianne spent her last few years living at Caleb Village in North Battleford, enjoying the companionship, tile games, and getting in her steps on the second floor hallway. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
As per Dianne’s wishes, a graveside service will be held in the spring/summer of 2026 when it’s warm.
