It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carrie Elizabeth Wilson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Carrie left us peacefully on July 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Carrie was a devoted wife to Allan, and a cherished mother to her four children: Jennifer (and her husband Rheal), Michelle (and her husband Craig), Micheal (and his spouse Sheena), and Jason (and his wife Chrystal-Anne). She was also a proud and loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren: Chanse, Myah, Taylor, Chase, Harrison, Veyda, Jade and Von. Her family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated her life to them.
She is survived by her mother, Nan, her two brothers, Alan and John, and her two sisters, Diane and Linda, as well as nieces: Filipa and Taryn, and great nephew, Kalen. She was preceded in death by her father, Herb, whom she always remembered with great affection.
Carrie will be remembered for her boundless love, her unwavering support, and her warm, welcoming spirit. She had a passion for crafting and gardening, finding joy and creativity in every project and every bloom. She touched the lives of everyone she met and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.
One of her favorite sayings was, “We are not step, we are not half, we are just family.” This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the love and unity she fostered within her family.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Condolences for the family can be made at www.eternalmemoriesfuneral.ca Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium – Larissa Wack Apprentice Funeral Director.
