Beverly spent most of her life in her beloved hometown (North Battleford).
She was a devoted mother to her children, Toni-Lynne and Todd, and took on the role of second parent and caregiver to her cherished grandchildren. Her career at Beaver Lumber was not just a job but a passion where she imparted her knowledge and love of construction to her son. Later in life, Beverly opened her dayhome, caring for numerous children in her community who remember her fondly as an additional grandparent, with memories of her baking, and the specialty pizza buns.
She shared an unbreakable bond with her best friend and daughter, Toni-Lynne, with whom she spent many memorable years. One of Beverly’s proudest accomplishments was celebrating 45 years of sobriety, a testament to her strength and resilience. Her dedication to her faith in God was evident in her work with AA and the Salvation Army, where she supported and uplifted countless individuals in her community, including inmates on their recovery journeys.
Beverly’s wisdom and sense of humor endeared her to all who knew her. She often shared her thoughts and favorite quotes with her grandchildren, believing that God never gives us more than we can handle. One of her cherished prayers was, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things that we can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
Beverly will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
