Bill leaves behind a devoted family who cherished him: his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly; his daughter Victoria Leasak of Lacombe, AB; his eldest son John Kyle Leasak (Sheri) of Lloydminster, AB; and his youngest son William Quinn Leasak (Shelley) of Cochrane, AB. Bill was also a proud grandfather to Taylor Quirk, Jared Quirk, Torrie Quirk, Branden Leasak, Haley Curtis (Zachary), Shalynn Leasak, and Kailey Leasak, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Bill grew up on the family farm near Vawn, SK, where he graduated high school and later pursued an industrial engineering degree. He began his career in the engineering field but soon discovered his true passion for residential and commercial construction. Over the course of his lifetime, Bill built several homes throughout Western Canada, leaving a lasting legacy of craftsmanship and dedication.
Bill worked hard and played harder, with a wild side that made him the source of many legendary stories. His tales of growing up were unforgettable memories in themselves, filled with laughter and adventure. He was also active in his community, coaching hockey and ball for many years, making a positive impact on the lives of young athletes.
A man of principle, Bill stood up for what he believed in and always supported those he cared about. His work ethic was beyond imaginable, a rare quality that set him apart. Whether in his career or personal life, his determination and dedication were unmatched and served as a beacon of inspiration to those around him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Holtzhausen, Dr. Khurana, Dr. Eckstein, Dr. Reid, and Dr. Campbell for their unwavering support and exceptional care of Bill over the past few years. Gratitude is also extended to the nurses and aides on the 3rd floor of the Battlefords Union Hospital for their compassion and care, and to the home care team whose dedication and support brought comfort to Bill at home. A special thank you to Gary, a devoted friend who never let Bill down and stood by him through thick and thin.
