It is with deep sadness that the family of Vincent Randall Scaife announce his passing on December 11, 2025 at the age of 61 years old.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish all that he was, is his beloved family; his loving partner, Geraldine and his two daughters; Stephanie (Mitch) and Jenna as well his precious grandchildren, Alice and Jack. Vince is also survived by his brothers; Ken, Tim, Matthew and sister, Debbie as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
Vince was predeceased by his mother, Marilyn, father, Lorne and younger brother, Todd.
Vince was born in Prince Albert, Sask; the eldest of 6 children. Vince enjoyed life and always spoke fondly of his time at Grampa and Gramma’s farm as well as the many years of camping trips with all his family, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Vince’s life took him many places including Estevan, Davidson, Red Deer, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Lloydminster and Bonnyville. Wherever Vince went, he made friends easily. With his kind heart, loud laugh and a joke always ready, he had a gift for connecting with people with every walk of life.
Over the years, Vince worked many roles; as a cook, in retail, as a handyman and the owner of a local taxi company. He was known for his hard work and the way he could strike up a conversation with anyone who crossed his path. He loved woodworking, bike repair and spending time at farmers markets. He was always tinkering, fixing, building and chatting.
Vince was incredibly proud of his daughters, Steph and Jenna and took immense joy in being Grandpa to his grandchildren, Alice and Jack. He always enjoyed sharing pictures with anyone he met.
Vince will be remembered for his generosity, his humor and the warmth he brought into every room. Vince had a kind heart and a deep love for his family. His spirit lives on in the family and friends who loved him, and in the many lives he touched by simply being himself.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Service of Remembrance will be held in the spring or summer of 2026 where he will be laid to rest with his mother and brother in Naicam, Saskatchewan.
A smile, a laugh, and a boisterous presence is something we will always remember and love him for…..
