The family of Terry Sled would like to announce his passing on September 5, 2024 at the age of 63 years.
Terry John Sled was born in Rosetown May 13, 1961 to Joe and Norma Jean Sled. He was a little brother to Nancy. Five years later baby brother Craig was born and the family was complete. Terry was a passionate outdoorsman. His life was defined by his love for fishing, hunting, boating, swimming, sledding, and skiing. Anything he could do that was outside and adventurous. Terry told fond memories about being with his Grandpa Mug in the Stranraer hills.
Terry worked for PFRA right out of high school and spent his entire working career with them. Terry moved to Battleford and had two daughters, Danielle and Ashley. He loved his girls and wanted them to love the outdoor activities the way he did. They had many great adventures together at their Flotten Lake cabin. Terry found joy in sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the outdoors with family and friends. His stories around the campfire will be greatly missed.
Terry had many great friends and they kept in touch with him and checked on him regularly. Terry had a special relationship with his daughter Ashley and their love for the outdoors. Ashley looked after Terry the last few years of his life and was with him when he passed.
Terry is survived by his loving daughters: Danielle Sled (Michael Katcheech) and their son Jude; Ashley (Mitch) Baer; sister Nancy (Doug) Kissick, brother Craig (Jill) Sled, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and their families.
Terry was predeceased by his parents Joe and Norma Jean Sled and both sets of his grandparents.
