It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Edward ‘Ed’ Smith announce his passing on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the age of 99 years.

Dad is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren: Glenda Smith, Michael Servante (Nichola); Janice Christensen (Ben), Jillian Christensen-Thistle (Dorian), Nathan and Emily Thistle; Daniel Christensen (Alexis), Jack and Conor Christensen; Marlene Smith; brothers: James Smith (Pat); Harold Smith (Karen); Ken Smith (Bea); Maurice Smith (Joanne); sister-in-law, Sheila Smith; many nieces and nephews who were very special to Dad.

Dad was predeceased by his wife, Marion Smith; brothers: George (Anne), Bill; sister, Kathleen (Bruce) Hatch.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ed Smith will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1:00pm at Third Avenue United Church, North Battleford, SK with Reverend Dexter van Dyke as officiant. Interment will take place prior to the Service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK.
