Mr. Richard Felix

With heavy hearts and great sadness, we would like to announce that Our Lord called his son, Richard Felix, home on April 22, 2024. He was 70 years old.
Richard was born on November 27, 1953, in Saskatoon, to Jerome and Anastasia Felix. He attended Peterson School for grades 1 to 9, Bruno School for high school, and graduated from the University of Regina in 1975 with a Bachelor of Social Work. He worked tirelessly with the Saskatchewan Provincial Government within the departments of Social Services, the Forensic Unit, and with Child and Youth.
Rick married Grace in 1978 and made the Battlefords their home. They moved to Murray Lake in 2000 to spend their golden years there. He spent his last days at home and passed while being lovingly wrapped in the arms of his wife and children.
Left to cherish his memory are; his beloved wife of 46 years, Grace, their children Lenora Felix, Lonny (Betty-Lou) Delorme, Anastacia Felix, and Adam Felix; his siblings: Jeff Felix, Doug (Connie) Felix, Connie (Keith) Mackrell, Joan (Vern) Sparrow, and Alan (Sherry) Felix; grandchildren Celina (Stanley), Kolton, Klinton, Kenton, Sammy (Chris), Andrea, Aiden, and Keenan; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Jerome Felix, his mother Anastasia Felix (nee Zettl), and brothers Brian and Roger.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. held at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kunnath as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Town of Battleford Cemetery.
Donations can be made on Rick’s behalf to the Battlefords and District Food Bank, the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
