It is with profound love and gentle sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Gray, who left this world peacefully at the age of 92 years on November 14, 2025, surrounded by the care and comfort of those who loved him.
Born in Maymont in 1933, Murray lived a long and meaningful life defined by kindness, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that make life full. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great Grandfather, and friend, who’s steady presence and warm smile made every gathering brighter. Murray believed deeply in hard work, integrity and treating every person with respect; values he carried into his life volunteer work, and lifelong involvement in his community.
Those who knew Murray will remember his gentle humor, his stories from “the old days” and the way he always made time to listen. He found joy in fishing, fastball, baseball, cattle and music. He treasured every moment spent with family whether around the dinner table, at holiday celebrations, or during quiet visits where he would share his wisdom and warmth.
